Why BOKSWA

We cast what we sell. Every block, paver and kerb that leaves Joggo was batched, compacted and cured on our own yard — so when you ask how it was made, we can actually answer.

Aggregate to dispatch on one site, run by one crew, to one standard. Scroll on to watch it happen.

Durable Concrete Blocks & Paving Stones Manufactured in Kampala

Graded stone, sand and cement are moved by loader into the batching bays. What goes in decides what comes out, so the inputs are selected before anything is mixed.

BOKSWA workers in protective equipment feeding the concrete mixer

Batched by weight, not by guess

Consistent proportioning is what makes one block behave like the next. Our crews work the hopper in full protective equipment, every batch to the same recipe.

Into the plant

Mixed concrete is conveyed to the moulding machine, where vibration and compression give each unit its density. This is where a block stops being a mixture and becomes a component.

Continuous production

The plant runs to order. Freshly moulded units come off the line and move straight to the curing field, which is how we hold bulk quantities without holding up your site.

Curing is not waiting

Units are laid out and cured before they are stacked or loaded. Rushing this stage is the single most common reason a block fails on site. We do not rush it.

Hollow block

Load-bearing walling with reduced dead weight and cores that take reinforcement and services. The workhorse of Ugandan structural walling.

Solid block

Maximum density where the load demands it — foundations, retaining courses, high-load walling and anywhere a hollow unit would be the weak link.

  • FinishUniform density

Pavers

Interlocking units in several profiles and colours. They spread load across the surface instead of through it, which is why a paved driveway outlasts a poured one under vehicle traffic.

  • ProfilesMultiple
  • ColoursGrey & red

Kerb stones

The edge that holds everything else in place. Without restraint, paving creeps and gravel migrates — kerbs are what keep a finished surface looking finished in year five.

Course by course

Uniform units lay faster and truer. When every block is the same height, a mason spends time building instead of correcting — and your wall goes up on schedule.

A structure that stands

This is the only test that matters. Strong materials for strong structures is not a tagline — it is the reason we control every stage from aggregate to dispatch.

Select a product to see what it is for, how it behaves and where it belongs. Every line is cast at the same yard, from the same batching discipline.

High-load bearing blocks for resilient walling

Cores reduce dead weight and carry reinforcement and services, so you get structural walling that is lighter to lift and faster to lay. The standard choice for residential and commercial walling.

The people

A real yard,
a real crew

Protective equipment is not decoration. A yard that handles bulk aggregate, heavy plant and loaded trucks is only productive when it is run safely, and uniform product density is the direct result of people who work to a method.
